Battery Electrode & Cells / Electrochemistry Laboratory Key responsibilities: • Research conducted to compare Na-ion over Li-ion batteries, mainly focusing on the identification of gaseous decomposition products from irreversible side-reactions (Online Electrochemical Mass Spectrometry, Electrode synthesis, Battery assembly, BioLogic battery cycler, Glovebox) • Findings presented at 8th Symposium SCCER Heat and Electricity Storage, EMPA, Zurich, and paper published in “Energy Storage Materials”
Key responsibilities: • Set up of laboratory equipment. head of its operation & maintenance • Research conducted on the rheological behavior of a) nanofluids b) high viscosity fluids in collaboration with the International Association of Transport Properties • Collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (Boulder, Co, USA) for the standard correlation of the viscosity of Ethyl Fluoride (R161) • Worked with a team of 5 scientists, responsible for creating a portable device to measure the thermal conductivity of solids & participated in its presentation at Xi’an Jiaotong University P.R. China
