Providing my privacy and compliance expertise to clients of Paragon Legal, a premier legal services firm providing interim in-house support to corporate legal departments. Currently, I'm on assignment with a fast-growing multinational medical device company assisting them with their privacy program and developing their global distribution anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance program. Previous engagements include organizing and enhancing the privacy program practices of a global satellite imagery company and filling privacy program management needs of an video game software development company.
Developed the Privacy Management Program for the Affiliate Data Services program. Collaborated with legal, privacy compliance, and product leadership teams to ensure cross-company work on regulatory priorities was executed in an efficient and effective manner.
Developed and delivered a global privacy program to manage data of donors in 70 countries. Provided leadership to cross-functional teams to execute both short-term tactical solutions while helping to execute long-term strategies aligned with global privacy program objectives. Drove development and delivery of privacy-focused trainings and communications to 5,000 employees across 45 countries and in 9 languages. Supported the objectives of the Ethics, Compliance & Privacy Office while directing day-to-day operations of the Conservancy’s global privacy program.
Paragon Legal is an innovative legal services firm providing experienced legal professionals on a project basis to the Fortune 500 and leading Bay Area companies. My role focuses on providing privacy professional expertise to bridge corporate Privacy Officers' needs for privacy program solutions and day-to-day operations management.
Overseeing all aspects of Blackhawk's global privacy compliance program, I liaised across business units to advise on best practices for personal data control, security, and related regulatory compliance areas as well as country-specific legal requirements (GDPR, GLBA, AML, Anti-bribery laws). Beyond optimizing risk assessment processes and guiding risk mitigation, I also developed and executed multi-layered training programs and represented the enterprise while engaging with customers, governments, and trade organizations.
