Ensuring back end systems such as Calypso, Kapiti, Murex are able to consume deals and ensuring the relevant teams have completed their KYC checks to enable clients to deal. Reconciling FX deals that have been booked are confirmed and ensuring each client receives their confirmation details via murex. Utilising Intellimatch to ensure FX deals are settled correctly and efficiently to remove the risk of an ever fluid FX market. Ensuring tasks are completed within a timely manner and ensuring the team is sufficiently cross trained to provide smooth settlement of each deal. Capturing the risk of FX deals that have been incorrectly processed, to ensure a minimal financial impact to the bank.
Assisted dealers and the front office regarding queries for Euroclear settlement. - Reached out to various stakeholders both internationally and in the domestic Australian Market for Settlement - Assisted with the timely settlement of Euroclear trades to ensure deals are completed and transfered in the EXIGO/AUSTRACLEAR Sphere. - Identified and set up various products (ISIN, ECP, New stock issues, international Collateral set up ( FR, DE, UST and JP) - Assisted the NAB Hong Kong and Singapore desks with the settlement of MAS Bills (SG) as well as to assist with the onboarding of clients for NAB's Asia arm. - Calculated and ensured that Funds are process in a timely manner, both accurately and communicating with NAB's Cash banks to ensure the risk of Funding is covered. Futures. - Supported NAB's Futures trading desks with enquiries and end to end reconciliation for various Futures products ( AU, NZ, EU, LME, Commodities, SONIA,) - Reconciled Futures positions between NAB and various stakeholders and ensured that the positions are balanced between all parties. - Ensuring Margin calls are met between various stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery/receipt of funds. - Generation and regular checks/updates on reconciliation processes to ensure accurate postion between desks. Training/Miscellaneous. - Regular upkeep of procedures with new and updated changes to products. - Training of new starters and regularly took part in the interview process to identify gaps to fill in the team. - Identified and fine-tuned training methods during the pandemic as well as encouraged the uptake of training over Zoom. - Regularly set up Social catch ups over zoom during the pandemic to encourage morale between the team.
