Building a delivery team to deliver the fastest time to value for enterprise AI that the world has ever seen
Prophecy is the go to platform for the "shift left" in data engineering - moving pipeline building into the hands of business users, leveraging AI agents to rapidly accelerate time to value from customer data sets. During my time at Prophecy I was responsible for transforming the professional services function into a customer value delivery function. During this brief stint, we accomplished nearly everything I set out to do in my first year at Prophecy. We built a suite of packaged services offerings that can be delivered repeatably, we built recurring revenue services offerings, we built the structure for delivery of large scale migrations services as part of our OEM agreement with SAP, we built a robust delivery partner ecosystem to scale our services delivery, and we established solid foundations for robust revenue reporting and resource allocation. All of this to say that we shifted from a pull based services delivery organization into a services led GTM motion.
Responsible for product management of all CS offerings (inclusive of PS, CS, EDU, and support). Currently focused on dramatically improving customer time to value with Segment. Building programs to assist PS and CS teams to identify and execute on customer use cases, and new offerings tailor made for use case acceleration.
In this role, I orchestrate all facets of services bookings, revenue, and services investments in Communications, Media and Entertainment vertical. Ultimately responsible for the project success of a multi million dollar portfolio of Data and AI projects. Beyond the core revenue, bookings, and project success goals, I manage and allocate an annual services investment budget ($M) for CME vertical, driving 10x returns on those investments. Overall responsibility to guide and coach high-caliber team of engagement managers and project managers.
I established and nurtured Strategic Customer and Partner Programs for various verticals and regions (initially West / Central region, and then on to HLS, FinServ, Federal, SLED, Retail, and CME) Initially helmed the regional Strategic Customer and Strategic Partner Programs for West, Central, and Federal / PubSec; subsequently facilitated the transition into verticalized execution, including identification of peak growth use cases and opportunities for investments to accelerate. Headed co-investment programs to outfit customers and partners with tools to accelerate achievement of business goals. Cultivated relationships with sellers and customers to highlight benefits of Strategic Customer Program throughout sales cycle. Devised salesforce request process for investment requests and triage.
Here, I held chief accountability for architecting and managing AWS Marketplace's monitoring and observability category (selection, integration and market development). Formulated and implemented strategic seller and go-to-market (GTM) plans for key monitoring vendors to effectively leverage individual customer use cases and solution value stories, maintaining alignment with AWS strategic initiatives to establish and close sales pipeline for each vendor. Designed repeatable templates for broadening reach of managed sellers within AWS and seller target markets. Handled all aspects of vendor selection, integration with marketplace and market development for all vendors in assigned category.
