23 years of surveying experience, with the first 15 years of my career spent working in the field as a field tech or leading a survey crew before growing into leadership positions. I've been fortunate to work on several community changing projects throughout my career in various roles. Experienced in land development, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, construction layout, reality capture, and project management. Familiar with GPS, robotic total stations, multi-stations, bathymetry, terrestrial scanners, hand-held mobile scanners, and drones with photogrammetry and lidar payloads.
Provide guidance and best practices for 3D services such as: drone surveys (photogrammetry and Lidar), terrestrial scanning, mobile scanning, augmented reality, virtual reality, and use of AI through processing automation. Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to ensure QA/QC metrics are met consistently and efficiently through data collection procedures and software processing. Research client requirements, new technologies, and industry proven standards to ensure deliverables exceed expectations.
Demonstrate team leadership through delegating a multitude of tasks to team members. Additionally, this position requires me to establish positive relationships with several stakeholders. The crew leader often reports feedback to project managers, engineers, project owners, and general contractors working on the related project. Daily functions include assisting team members with solving problems, managing project guidelines, ensure proper procedures are implemented, and communicate project details to stakeholders. --Additional job functions-- ***Perform calculations (distances, slopes, angles,etc.), understand and verify design data provided in construction plans, verify layout is accurate, directing crew members, and delegating tasks. ***Read and understand previously recorded boundary survey data, record accurate horizontal and vertical datum, record detailed field notes, provide field measurements for utilities such as manhole structures and verifying pipe sizes for design. ***Communicate detailed information to clients to ensure projects remain on schedule and confirm data is accurate
