I have versatile experience of innovation strategy and policy analysis, development, implementation, monitoring and impact evaluation, including broad networks both in Finland and internationally. During recent years I have worked on sustainable innovation and on facilitating Finnish businesses in rapidly developing markets, including engagements with the UN system and international financial institutions. I am currently working at the Strategic Analysis unit with teams working on impact assessment, data and analytics, and foresight. I have extensive experience of results-based management in complex environments and I have led large projects, programs, international and multidisciplinary teams, at policy agencies and thinks thanks, consultancy and research organizations. • The Strategic Analysis unit ensures that Business Finland is a future-relevant and impactful through it's foresight, impact assessment, Business Intelligence, and policy insight for leadership and stakeholder engagements. • Finnish delegate to the OECD Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP).
• The Strategic Insight unit ensures that Business Finland is a future-relevant and impactful through it's five functions; foresight, impact assessment, business intelligence, missions management and strategy. • Member of the High Level Group on Systems Innovation to develop recommendations for the European Commission.
• The Developing Markets Platform is implemented with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a successor to the BEAM program, collaborates with UN and international financial institutions. • Project manager for the first phase of the CASB project to benchmark and create a roadmap for transforming Business Finland into a Change Agent for Sustainable Business. • Member of expert panel to review the Danish R&I system under European Commission Policy Support Facility, development of impact framework and KPIs for European Institute of Technology & Innovation (EIT) and their Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), evaluation of Strategic Innovation Programs (SIP) in Sweden
• Planning, funding and utilizing innovation research for policy and strategy at Tekes and throughout the innovation environment, analysis of innovation and policy developments, Nordic collaboration, customer work in Green Growth RDI program • Member of expert panel to assess and evaluate Strategic Innovation Area programmes funded by Vinnova • Fellowship at Vinnova, the Swedish RDI funding agency to work on impact assement, RDI program benchmarking and to deepen collaboration between Vinnova and Tekes • Finnish delegate to OECD Working Parties on Technology and Innovation Policy and Nanotechnology
