Duties included administrative tasks such as answering the telephone and responding to customer needs. Also colleagues and I organised and ran sports activities and sessions for both adults and children. In addition, I was a key holder and caretaker of our subsidiary leisure centre the Red Lodge Sports Pavilion. This role greatly improved my team working and interpersonal skills, as well as making me more responsible. I worked here throughout studying for my A-Levels and during the Christmas, summer and Easter breaks of the University year.
My role was to collate, organise, retrieve and archive the electronic record of a patient, for the purpose of recording and informing their care. Worked while undergoing a major transformation, as the NHS introduced electronic health records for every patient, which clinicians will have online access to at all time. Gained important skills such as time management, confidentiality and confidence through working in this environment.
