Chris has several years of experience as a software engineer, with experience in a wide range of enterprise systems and corporate environment, this includes NBN, Airwallex, and working for over three years at Amazon where he made several contributions to the successful Amazon Echo product and performed security reviews of many other projects throughout the organisation. Prior to that, he worked for Thomson Reuters on real-time market information systems. He migrated to Melbourne Australia in 2015 and is now an Australian Citizen
Working hard to untangle the many challenges that arise from increasingly popular Software as a Service platform. Ensuring the "bridge between the company's product and its revenue" , (i.e the subscription and payments platform ) works reliably and consistently. Successes so far, design and implementation of the discount code mechanism, deep understanding of Temporal framework and large code cleanup product which roughly doubled the number of customers served by each AWS instance used. Currently working with the AI Core team to develop integrations connecting internal team applications to an LLM-driven chatbot environment. Working on continually improving the platform using the OpenAI Agent SDK, optimising the multi-agent orchestration flow. Implemented Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Speech-to-Text (STT) capabilities using the ElevenLabs SDK
Software engineer, principally working on WAA’s ‘Video Analytics’ product, which uses computer vision and deep learning to produce heat maps and counts of retail store occupancy, which is combined with other data to provide web store like analytics to real-world stores. Code is written exclusively in Python; with Tensorflow and OpenCV
Software engineer working on the “platform avengers” team, with responsibility for scaling out and redesigning the companies fintech infrastructure. Technologies used include Spring Boot, Kotlin, Kafka, Axon and several others. Currently working on the new version of ‘wallet’ which includes the two lines of code which do the adding and taking away!
