As Operations Coordinator at Northwestern, I oversee the organization and logistics of our seasonal camps, including scheduling activities and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. I also plan and coordinate Friends and Family Day events in both the fall and spring, fostering community engagement and a positive experience for participants and their families.
Supporting research in Dr. Hojoon Lee’s lab focused on the neural circuits underlying taste perception. Involved in designing and conducting behavioral assays, analyzing neural data, and assisting with experimental setup and maintenance. Developing skills in neuroscience research, data analysis, and lab protocol execution.
In the Neuroscience Club, I explored the intricacies of brain science through discussions and collaborative projects. Some of these projects have included presentations, such as one regarding 3D printing neural tissue.
During my internship, I took on the responsibility of filing a Fixed Asset Report. This involved closely working with the finance and accounting teams to gather and organize data on the organization's fixed assets. I categorized and calculated depreciation, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting. This experience enhanced my skills in financial reporting and underscored the importance of effective fixed asset management for organizational transparency and accountability.
