Shell Commercial Graduate Programme | 2nd Rotation: Lubricants Supply Chain (Asia-Pacific) 1) Co‐led regional inventory optimization, enabling APAC to close at steady DIO days despite volatility through stronger governance and weekly working capital (WC) alignment, delivering 7MUSD WC benefits. 2) Conceptualised and led an E2E competition across LSC, sales and marketing, identifying 30MUSD WC opportunities. 3) Built an APAC inventory dashboard with heat-map insights, reducing reporting effort by 30% and accelerating planning decisions; also developed a consolidated Demand–Production–Supply file to eliminate siloed reporting and surface planning gaps faster. Shell Commercial Graduate Programme | 1st Rotation: Global Sustainability (Aviation) 1) Translated EU climate policies (EU/UK/Swiss ETS & ReFuelEU) into commercial opportunities by leveraging deep EU supply chain insights. Acted as EU ETS focal for Commercial Aviation, guiding account managers. Led 2025 SAF volume projections under ReFuelEU mandates and developed the LCF SAF Handbook, aligning global regulations with industry needs. 2) Spearheading the analytical work on the Future SAF Demand Strategy to identify top current and potential airline customers by 2030. Focused on maximizing volume and margin through in-depth airline analysis, internal capability mapping, and strategic market alignment to grow SAF market share globally. 3) Carbon accounting (Scope 1 and 3): Refined carbon accounting for Avelia (Book & Claim blockchain platform), ensuring limited assurance verification under ISO 14064-3 for 2023–2024. Led cross-regional team to align Avelia’s sustainability documentation with latest ISO and GLEC standards. 4) Strategically enhancing Shell Aviation's existing customer value propositions (CVPs) globally and implementing these CVPs strategies. Recommendation letter available upon request. 1) Initiated learning by reaching out to the tactical planner in understanding the supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical industry via Novartis supply chain manual and demand & supply review meetings. 2) Facilitated the creation of slide deck for the tactical planner's green belt certification project, titled "Manufacturing Unit Consumable optimization" by applying the concepts of six sigma. 3) Assisted the tactical planner in the planning of the material production schedule and was introduced to the SAP system.
Interned at Novartis Singapore Pharmaceutical Manufacturing as part of the Manufacturing Science & Technology department (which specializes in solid dosage (tablets) manufacturing). Recommendation letter available upon request. 1) Assisted in the collection of data (tablet weight, thickness, and hardness) via Checkmaster and the SOTAX tablet tester. Macro and Minitab were used to filter out relevant data (mean, minimum, maximum and standard deviation) for trending and analysis in the final product (Entresto) validation report. 2) Created a product specialist matrix from scratch (via excel) as part of the plant closure that showcases the current manpower and the forecasted manpower. Presented to senior management and they were pleased with the excel. 3) Supported in risk assessment, protocol and report for validation activities and process performance for products like the use of smaller kettle (250L) instead of the usual larger kettle (400L) 4) Assisted in product investigations and deviation/root cause investigations (like chipped tablets, broken tablets and foreign particles etc.) and ensure all operations in full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), statutory, regulatory and Novartis requirements.

Ltd as part of the Supply Chain Department (Procurement and Operations). 1) Ensured effective liaison with agents and coordinated arrangement of shipments. 2) Assisted my team in drafting and mailing out of key information (purchase order, export letter of credit, commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin, packing list, insurance and others) in a timely manner.
Interned at Singapore Civil Defence Force Headquarters as part of the Hazardous Materials Department (Industrial Risk). 1) Researched on the transportation and storage of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) by analyzing other countries’ regulations and developments. 2) Made recommendations on how Singapore can develop into a LNG hub in the future and did a risk assessment from the logistics point of view.
