About

Christopher Young is the Vice President & Creative Director, Tiffany Patrimony & Global Creative Visual Merchandising at Tiffany & Co. He is responsible for the global creative development of all window displays and product presentation, curation of all exhibitions, heritage publications, and a spokesperson for the House. Young is also responsible for the Tiffany Archives and directed the groundbreaking “Tiffany Wonder” and “Vision & Virtuosity exhibitions to great acclaim at the Tokyo Node in Tokyo Node Gallery and Saatchi Gallery in London respectively. Book publications include “Windows at Tiffany” (Assouline) “Crafting Victory” (Assouline) “Vision & Virtuosity” (Assouline) “The Landmark” (Assouline) “Tiffany Wonder” (Assouline) and “The Tiffany Archives” (Steidl). In addition, Young also illustrates for Tiffany, including "The Winter Carousel" children's book and other worldwide creative campaigns. Previously, he has consulted top luxury brands for visual merchandising, illustration, animation, and product design. Christopher transformed traditional sailor tattoo designs into an array of diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires for “Tattoo by Harry Winston™”. Additional clients include Agent Provocateur, Ringing Brothers Barnum & Bailey, Assouline Publications, Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Hermès, Ralph Lauren, Van Cleef and Arpels, The New York Public Library and The Whitney Museum of American Art. As a spokesperson, Young has been featured in many publications and broadcasts including talks at the 92nd Street Y, The New York Times, Le Figaro, The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Town and Country, Vogue, Elle, Variety, and many others. A career turning point was when Salma Hayek chose Young as her Painting Coach for her Oscar®-nominated role as painter Frida Kahlo in the Miramax film "Frida". Since then, Young led the creative collaboration with Guillermo del Toro and Tiffany with Netflix for Frankenstein (2025) for which the Silver and Gold Cannes Lions was awarded in Luxury. He partnered closely with costume designer Kate Hawley to identify and incorporate 27 pieces from The Tiffany Archives into the film’s narrative and her ravishing costumes, for which Hawley received the Academy Award in Costume Design (2026). For nearly 30 years Young has taught drawing and watercolor at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts in the MFA program, Department of Design for Stage and Film.
