Recruited to the Claire Trevor School of Arts Department of Music by Professor Dennis Kim and appointed by Dr. Geoffrey Pope to be the Assistant Concertmaster after auditioning for the orchestra as a Freshman.
Ran a summer camp, recruiting the Leland Speech and Debate team president and other students to teach over twenty elementary and middle school students public speaking. Led the advertising campaign, managed parent communications, planned lessons, and taught classes. Worked both in large groups and one-on-one.
Taught piano music theory in both group and one-on-one lessons to prepare five elementary and middle school students for all levels of the Certificate of Merit test.
Performed and competed on international stages, winning top prizes, receiving instrument loans from the Chimei Museum Foundation, and an opportunity to perform concerto with Peninsula Symphony Orchestra as soloist.
