Led a DIA venture focused on developing technologies to enable early detection and treatment of individuals at risk for developing COPD or lung cancer to prevent/intercept disease processes. Disease Interception (DI) is a Janssen strategy intended to create a paradigm shift from disease care to health care by initiating an evolution from the diagnosis and treatment of disease to prediction and preemption. The DIA is focused on exploring disease areas most ready for DI strategies, like COPD & lung cancer, and creating solutions that intervene earlier and inhibit progression to disease. Through scientific partnerships, coupled with strong leadership, we hope to transform the way individuals, physicians and health care systems approach health and well-being in the future.
