Based in Agora's Brussels office, I am working on economic and financial aspects of the energy transition and related EU policy issues. The transition will have important macroeconomic implications and require large-scale investments. What will those implications look like and how can the EU ensure the necessary investments to make the transition a success? In the webinar below I present the two publications of our MacroNext project that seek to answer these questions.
Pre-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics as part of the ERC-granted project SMOOTH The aim of SMOOTH is to study the dynamic links between macro-financial systems and the transition to a low-carbon society, and to contribute to the design of policies directed at achieving a rapid and smooth decarbonisation. I was working for Work Package 3, dedicated to the study of the governance and political economy implications of a low-carbon transition, with a focus on the role of central banks and financial regulators.
