• Assisted Meteorologists in deploying weather balloons utilizing a radiosonde to measure pressure, temperature, relative humidity and analyzed the data. • Assisted Meteorologists in tracking weather conditions in the State of Georgia.
• Tracked and deployed weather balloons using a radiosonde instrument to monitor weather conditions. • Analyzed data, prepared weather forecast and forwarded weather reports on to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, AL. • Collect, assess, analyze, and integrate meteorological, hydrological, and climatic data in order to provide forecasts of critical elements and synoptic, levels. • Trained and operated the Mobile Alabama X-band (MAX) Doppler Radar/Satellite truck to track severe weather conditions through the State of Alabama. • Operated the Mobile Integrated Profiling System (MIPS) truck to measure wind speed and storm height. • Tracked severe weather and hurricanes conditions through the Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS). • Activated the iMet (Inter-Meteorology) digital tracking system to prepare the radiosonde to measure atmospheric pressure, air temperature, water vapor and wind speed.
• Assisted assigned Meteorologists using the digital meteorology platform. • Monitored and tracked weather conditions utilizing the digital radar systems to assess and analyze data.
