Completely legal and formal registration with West Virginia to provide a variety of "tech support" services. Design of Web sites/pages, development of Web applications, information processing with spreadsheets and databases, document production in Word and Adobe Acrobat, simple installation of software, hardware, and networks, attaching social media to companies and persons (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook), converting VHS to DVD, etc. First customer is Telomeres Support Systems, a Shepherdstown WV MLM for Isagenix. Available for occasional above board, legally transparent, freelance tech support. Required to withhold 6% WV sales tax. Might live in an area requiring additional 1% WV city sales tax for Martinsburg inside town limits. Longer term I would benefit from hiring a project manager, as we had project managers in several jobs as liaison between the nebulous expectations of customers and our actionable technical specifications.
