My decades of experience include serving as an executive officer myself, which enables me to better understand the competing demands on business owners and executives. As a result, I am well positioned to provide the practical advice business leaders crave from their legal counsel as they balance achieving their business objectives while managing their legal risk. I help corporate clients grow through mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, borrowing, strategic alliances, joint ventures and complex business transactions. I serve as their trusted outside general counsel, advising boards and executive officers on key initiatives for their organizations on a variety of business and legal issues. As a seasoned law firm leader, I seek to drive improvement and efficiency in the business of the practice of law through the use of people, processes, systems and data. With a focus on process improvement and using systems to leverage better legal solutions, I participated as a co-development partner with Thomson Reuters on Panoramic, the legal workflow solution that enables firms to plan, manage and execute legal matters launched in April 2019. My executive experience and focus on the business of law enables me to more effectively advise my clients on the pressing legal and business issues they face.
