Experienced and interested in improving lives via the intersection of science and policy. Towards this end, I work on topics related to Meta-Science, Impact Evaluation, Science for Policy and Policy for Science, Science of AI Evals, Evidence-Based Philanthropy, Poverty Alleviation, Research Strategy, and Criminal Justice Policy.
• Developed comprehensive guidelines and standards to establish best practices for AI Evaluations (with an emphasis on AI Uplift RCT Studies). • Conducted extensive literature reviews on methodological and reporting best practices for evaluations across various disciplines.
• Drove a portfolio of RCTs, quasi-experiments, and other policy relevant research projects forward that were aimed at reducing poverty and improving lives.
• Assessed the design, budget, and potential impact of over 100 research and policy proposals to improve the effectiveness and humaneness of criminal justice policies and programs • Researched & recorded state and local government best practices & investment opportunities • Reviewed literature to discern research priorities and designed project specifications and solicitation materials • Supported meetings and workshops, and communicated with CJ stakeholders, including: cities, counties, states, academic institutions, and nonprofits • Developed presentations and talking points supporting CJ strategy to internal and external audiences
