With over twenty-five years experience as a creative designer and content developer but over the past sixteen years my work has predominantly focused on film and photography production, which involves directing professional films and photography shoots for NHS England creative studio. I have been behind the camera and responsible for the majority of NHS England films and photography during this time. I manage all the stages of film production and administration thereof, from original concept, storyboard production, scheduling, filming, editing, publication and review. By asking the questions, ‘Who are we trying to reach and how? What message do we want the film to convey and what do we want people to do as a result?’ - I can realise compelling films that enable audience retention and ultimately delivers the overarching communication objectives cross a range of channels to support identified proactive stories, to showcase the organisation in every area and location travelling right across the country. I have shot many varied filmed interviews and reportage/portrait photographs but here are a few examples of short narrative films:, Martha's Rule, 10 Year Health Plan, Winter Flu vaccination, ‘A day in the Life’, NHS App, NHS Spine, COVID-19 ‘getting back to the things that matter’, Saving Babies Lives, Federated data platform etc
