I am a medical student with a strong foundation in biomedical science, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Biomedical Sciences with distinction, majoring in Physiology and Pharmacology in my final year. Following my undergraduate studies, I was accepted into the MBBCh programme at the University of the Witwatersrand, where I am currently furthering my training toward a career in medicine. I am particularly interested in the integration of scientific research with clinical practice and applying foundational biomedical knowledge to improve patient outcomes. I am motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to lifelong learning, with a strong interest in disease etiology, its pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
This position has given me the opportunity to give free tutorials to current pharmacology students at the University of the Witwatersrand. Helping them understand certain pharmacological topics.
