About

At Mershon's I worked selling cars, and I was also in charge of all marketing both digital and print advertising. Social Media and Web Design. I grew our social media from nearly nothing, to tens of thousands of followers. I then leveraged the Social Media following into real leads. I photographed every single car that came into the dealer, and wrote detailed descriptions. Then I would create reels, and also edited videos on a turntable for Youtube. I also assisted in Transporting cars, and purchasing cars. I enjoy managing, and I work well with large groups of employees. At Driveshop I worked all over the country, with new staff nearly every week as we went city to city. The same was true at Triggerhouse and Agar. I was regularly overseeing upwards of forty and fifty staff members at many of our events. I can read individuals which allows me to tailor my approach to a given person when engaging in a sales or marketing role. When managing I am able to diffuse otherwise difficult and uncomfortable situations with this ability. I am also effective at training new staff. I can inspire, and motivate, and I always aim to exceed the goals of the client, and my employer. As an employee I am a hard worker, I believe you are only as good as your last five minutes on the clock. I have a respect for hard work, and I genuinely enjoy it. I am also very mechanically inclined. I can build and set up about anything, as well as repair event assets. I can also fabricate solutions onsite as I am equipped with a wide array of tools. I also have experience driving large vehicles, and trailers of varying lengths. I can operate forklifts, skid steer, telehandlers, loaders, back hoes, excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers. I can build you anything you can think up, I can even help design it, drive the assets to the site, and manage the staff onsite.

  • Course Engineer / Event Manager at DriveShopUSA
    Jun 2014 - Oct 2021 · 7 yrs 5 mos

At Driveshop I work in a variety of roles. Primarily event management, and course engineering. I have most recently begun working as a course engineer as I have experience building all of our assets, and have the experience needed to build and design performance drive courses. Whether I am distilling product information, showcasing a vehicles capabilities, or registering consumers for our events I am always building a positive brand image. At Driveshop I was keeping track of the Staffs hours, event budgets, managing vehicle fleets, and managing large teams of staff. Arriving sometimes weeks before the event and dealing with contractors, Union Crews, and caterers. I also handled equipment rentals, forklift crews, and getting vehicles in and out of convention halls after picking them up at dealerships. The array of skills I learned at this job was incredible. And it was one of the greatest experiences of my life to work somewhere like this.

  • Manager at AGAR
    Jun 2013 - Apr 2018 · 4 yrs 11 mos

I worked managing tours for the automotive manufacturer Scion. These events included driving several cars to the event sites, with assets. Setting up the event site, detailing the cars, and executing the event with two to three product specialists with data capture devices. Due to my extensive automotive background and brand familiarity I also trained the staff, and ensured they were giving accurate brand information. I would also manage tours for Kroger distributing product at concerts, festivals, and 5K events. This included, as many of my management roles did, keeping track of the staffs hours, and product. We needed to give out as much as possible, limiting it to one per customer, but also ensuring we had enough product to have some for each day of the activations. This also included driving box trucks to event sites, and running a crew of staff to build the event space.

We dealt directly with venues and health inspectors throughout the event. The event required the use of a wide variety of assets. I performed set up, staff training, and tear down.
