My business cards only give you a brief snapshot of who I am or am becoming and little insight into who I have been. When you dig in you'll see that I worked my way up through the trenches. That path was simple but it wasn't easy. It required skills that I am still proud of today. Everyday rising and doing a job that needed doing, not looking for anything; no hidden motives, just doing. I am a positive person by nature, I hold onto that like its my last breath. I mentor and guide through praise and belief in the power of positive consequences. It's simple really, Aubrey Daniels lays it out in an almost easy to understand way. I coach novice hockey and initiation their version of hockey. In the management roles I've held, whether operationally or sales related I always remember the simple fact. People will try to do their best. It holds true around the world: Canada, US, Azerbaijan, Venezuela culturally different but generally the same. Success is best measured in how we grow others. I like creating management systems, work flows that look steps ahead and steps behind. We can not manage what we do not measure. A very powerful statement entrenched throughout business. My background looks topically to be oilfield centered but my skill set and my capacity to learn and adapt makes me applicable, kind of plug and play, to most positions. I enjoy being able to express my creative side through writing adds or social media copy and my nerd self likes to microscope the results. I am a life long learner. My audio bookshelf is massive, speckled with fictional tales for entertaining of course but the majority of the space is occupied by things that make me a better human. I have taken my Canadian Securities Course and My Exempt Markets course so I have a solid understanding of business process, ROI's, KPI's, and other XXX's but it seems my specialty is the human factor and getting it to do and be better. The doing, the analyzing of the doing, and the doing better.
Sales and operational excellence.
