• Working within the Scheduling and Frequency Management operational team to ensure the global distribution and delivery of radio transmissions via national and international shortwave/medium wave high power transmitter stations and satellite infrastructure. • Safeguarding of existing services through crisis intervention, maintenance project coordination and RF consultation to minimise disruption, and to optimise high standards of audibility for listeners. • Providing solution design consultancy and implementation to customers such as the BBC World Service and NHK for additional new services delivering a wide range of content from sport entertainment to geo-political and humanitarian news and information. • RF practice of the SW/MW spectrum and its associated modelling software's used for the planning and engineering of radio transmissions inline with the ITU's recommendation 533. • Attending international conferences to liaise with the HF radio community to ensure services comply with the procedures and deadlines of ITU Article S12 for HF Broadcasting. • Monitoring and grading of radio output samples on the High Frequency band range.
• Employed to provide and maintain global connectivity both voice and data to ships, aircraft and shore establishments. • Construction and constant engineering of LF/HF circuits providing vital services to mobiles in maritime/air operations. • Operation of high-speed modems, routers, and a variety of remote interfaces. • Handling and relay of sensitive information both cryptographic and plain to ensure customer safety.
