Notable Life & Career Achievements 1. Launched the Astro Sattelite Decoder in Malaysia whilst working with Philips Electronics. Responsible for the training of the first 200 installers and the distribution of the first 50,000 set-top boxes for Philips and Malaysia Broadcast Network Systems (MBNS) throughout the country. 2. Relaunched the Harley-Davidson brand in Malaysia under Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur (H-DKL), a member of the Naza Group of Companies. Responsible for acquiring the dealerships and launching of all three (3) major American motorcycle marques in Malaysia - Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle and Victory Motorcycles. 3. Managed the business of Audio Accessories for Philips Consumer Electronics (SEA) Pte Ltd. From the regional base in Singapore, managed the growth and distribution of Audio Accessories and Recordable Media in 16 countries in the region Asia-Pacific. Grew the headphones business in Asia, overtaking Philips Electronics volumes in Europe in the year 2000. Spent 6 months in Beijing helping to setup the then fledgling business of DVD manufacture under the brand of Philips. 4. Black belt in TaeKwon-Do. Was an instructor at age 15 with the Kedah TaeKwon-Do Association. 5. Voluntary commando training with the Tentera Melayu DiRaja for 3 years. Was the youngest NCO in the Country in 1975 (Age 12). 6. Middle and long distance runner (15 years, 6km - 25km distances), Inter-university Squash (3 years), KL league squash player (6 years), Archery (3 years, competed with Selangor B team as a guest). 7. Riding superbikes (above 500cc) since 1987. Currently riding a Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide daily to work. 8. Have 8 years formal music training with certificates from the Royal Schools of Music (London).
