I am a Registered Engineer and Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) I hold a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, from the Copperbelt University. I previously served on critical parliamentary committees at the National Assembly of Zambia, giving me the exposure and training on public policy matters relating to Mining, Energy, Water, Local Government and Health. Professionally I have worked for three companies in the mining sector; Luanshya Copper Mines, Mopani Copper Mines and Atlas Copco. At community level, I was elected Mayor of the city of Kitwe and President of the Local Government Association of Zambia.
