I have over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, with the past 15 years authoring appraisal reports. I concentrate on the appraisal of retail properties including power centers, neighborhood & community centers, strip centers and single tenant net leased assets in addition to related property types. Geographical regions covered include Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, with a focus on the downtown and suburban Chicago markets. I also have significant experience valuing existing as well as proposed office buildings, industrial facilities, apartment properties, commercial condominiums, mixed-use and special use properties throughout the Midwest. I have provided appraisal valuations and consulting services to a broad based national and local clientele including investors, property owners, real estate developers, commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, legal firms and REITs. In addition, I have also provided brokerage services, financial analyses and other real estate consulting and management services for various types of investment grade commercial properties located across the United States. I have also worked on numerous economic and community development projects for local municipalities throughout the state of Illinois, including the financing and development of new retail projects in the city of Chicago Specialties: Real Estate economics, finance, urban planning, urban land use law, and sustainability issues.
