With over 30 years of experience in consumer research, advertising effectiveness, neuromarketing AI, and mental health, my passion is understanding and predicting human behavior using cutting-edge science. I have run and started many businesses and held senior positions in several publicly traded companies. I hold an MBA from Bowling Green State University, an MA in Media Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Media Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. I am a lecturer at Johns Hopkins on AI and an adjunct faculty member of the Media Psychology Department of Fielding Graduate University. I have received numerous awards as a speaker (Vistage, 2011, 2013, and 2021) and as a researcher (ARF, 2011, 2014, and 2015). I have given over 1500 talks and lectures on neuromarketing, consumer neuroscience, marketing AI, and neuroplasticity since 2003. I published three bestsellers on Neuromarketing, including The Persuasion Code in 2018, which was widely acclaimed as the most comprehensive book decoding persuasion's effects on the brain and Neuromarketing AI. The Persuasion Code is available in 14 languages. My latest books, entitled OPEN and OPEN UP investigate the power of understanding consciousness and neuroplasticity to rewire our brains for more serenity and joy.
