Christophe is the Worldwide Managing Partner, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bain & Company. He oversees the firm’s global strategy and operations, including Modernize Bain – Bain’s AI transformation focused on unlocking new levels of client impact and enhancing Bain’s distinctive culture in the AI era. Previously, Christophe led Bain’s EMEA Private Equity practice and served as managing partner of Bain’s Brussels office. Over his 25+ year career at the firm, he has been recognized as one of the foremost experts in deal advisory and value creation work for portfolio companies owned by financial investors. Christophe began his career in consumer products at Procter & Gamble and has also been active in Bain’s Consumer Products practice. Christophe holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and multilingual business communication from the University of Ghent. He is based in New York and is married with two children. Christophe is a member of the World Economic Forum, including the Forum’s Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, and a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He was the 2005 recipient of Bain & Company’s Bright-Dix Award, which recognizes excellence in professional development. He sits on the Board of Directors of Kick Cancer, a non-profit to fight pediatric cancer.
