A pharmacist by training, I started my career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Sales Representative 25 years ago. Since then, I have had different commercial roles in various companies – both, originator and off-patent – in different countries and continents. Being born and raised, having lived and worked in several emerging countries has shaped my personal purpose. I’m driven by the desire to have a positive influence on people´s lives. With around 400m patient treatments delivered every year Sandoz has a strong impact on patients’ health. As President Europe and together with my colleagues at our regional leadership team, we work to pioneer access for patients and improve the sustainability of healthcare systems across 40 European countries by ensuring access to high-quality and affordable medicines for patients. We are making a difference for our customers, patients and society – every day and everywhere. As a leader, I am convinced that sharing a clear vision, building the right strategy and setting high achievable goals are important but not the only elements for success. Long-term sustainable achievements will only be reached if our people and teams are empowered and inspired by our values and a culture of diversity and inclusion which allows each of us to bring our best selves every day.
