Founded in 2007 by Christoph Van Daele and his partner Magali, ActionPeople is a forward-thinking initiative dedicated to empowering individuals and teams to work better together. With over 15 years of experience, Christoph has been a driving force behind transformational training programs for major organizations. As former Managing Partner at Belgium’s renowned consulting firm Mailleux & Associates, he played a key role in shaping impactful learning journeys. Following the passing of his friend and business partner Anthony in 2024, the decision was made to respectfully close Mailleux & Associates. While this marked the end of a meaningful chapter, it also signaled a new beginning, with ActionPeople now fully dedicated to designing and delivering tailor-made collaborative journeys for senior leaders and their teams. Since 2010, Christoph has been designing and facilitating high-impact programs for top-tier organizations such as Mars Incorporated, Nestlé, Abbott, Siemens, Toyota Motor Europe, ST Engineering iDirect, and many others. In parallel, he has been accompanying executives and senior leaders for over 10 years in their personal development journeys, supporting them in strengthening self-awareness, leadership presence, and impact - while also helping them challenge established patterns and the status quo when needed.

With ActionPeople i am focusing on Leadership Team Development and Individual Coaching of Sr. Executives - while Mailleux & Associates remains a reference when it comes to Organisational Design, Individual or Team Leadership skills and coping with Change. As Managing Partner & co-owner of Mailleux & Associates, i continue to travel the world in order to maintain and grow the 30 years reputation of the organisation. As a consequence of the COVID 19 pandemic - the M&A team successfully turned around it's business as from spring 2020. We are still " travelling" a lot - yet we do so using state of the art software ( Adobe Connect Virtual Classrooms ) that allows us to continue creating the added value we believe to stand for in a semi virtual way. Loved this move into training and consulting. I consider leaving 3SI and seizing the opportunity to join the renowned cabinet Mailleux and Associates the best move in my career. I remember studying a lot, yet meeting great people and accepting extra-ordinary challenges. Bonus : i started traveling again !
After the airlines, it was time to re-set and consolidate. Private situations made it more difficult for me to travel a lot so i decided to " settle" in a brand new - yet more stable environment. Learned how regular B2B and B2C work - learned a lot about marketing and sales environments - It was very interesting to assist an over 80-year-old institute moving into the 21 virtual era since this required us to work the attitude of people who were mainly reluctant to change.
I'm very proud of this experience..Together with a small group of great people, we did what hadn't been done before: Starting up an international ETOPS transatlantic airline from scrap and make our first planes fly out 7 months later. The commitment and expertise of all aviator's involved made this possible. Unfortunately Belgium wasn't ready for a transatlantic airline just after Sabena, so it didn't work out the way we all hoped. Half a year after our first take-off, the company was grounded again due to a lack of means.
The first years of my professional life. Going fast, growing fast. From individual contributor to leader, from leader to manager ... Great people, great environment. Tons of good memories, lot's of things one can describe as " no pain no gain stories". Sad it ended with the bankruptcy of the Swissair Group in 2001.
