I believe that good work should strive to make people's lives a little better. That belief has shaped everything I do. I have built a varied career across policy research, higher education, consulting and community work, always looking for the same thing: the place where good analysis meets real human need. My studies in Economics and Philosophy & Economics trained me to think rigorously and write clearly, but it is the work on the ground, at SOL Infoplein and as an energy coach at the Energiebank, that keeps me connected to my community and to what actually moves people. I thrive in roles that sit at the intersection of people and systems: coordinating, connecting, improving, and making sure that what looks good on paper also works in practice. How I work: active listening → making assumptions explicit early and transparently → structuring options clearly → delivering workable solutions. Known as a helpful, open and reliable teammate who connects people, data and delivery. Hard skills: Python · Stata · Power BI · Policy & Procedure Writing · Monitoring & Evaluation · Process Design & Improvement · Stakeholder Alignment · Reporting (EN/NL/DE/IT/ES)
Managed full hiring and onboarding cycle for 50+ teaching assistants per year: needs intake with course leads, selection, allocation, expectation setting, and first-week readiness. Trained and coached teaching assistants in core didactics, class management, and consistent application of programme rules, including attendance and assessment. Supported teaching assistants throughout their tenure, including coordination of work permit documentation and, where needed, navigation of sick leave processes in line with Dutch employment regulations. Set up a feedback loop with teaching assistants through listening sessions and quick surveys; surfaced issues early and translated signals into concrete improvements. Partnered with lecturers and programme management to implement high-leverage process improvements in teaching operations, balancing interests across students, lecturers, and management. Coordinated an academic skills course and redeveloped the rubrics and evaluation process, resulting in greater consistency and reduced workload. Updated and maintained student and teaching handbooks; clarified procedures and roles to standardise delivery and reduce ambiguity.
Led tutorials and small-group sessions; explained concepts, facilitated discussions, and supported exam preparation for diverse cohorts. Provided structured, actionable feedback on assignments and exams to improve learning and consistency. Aligned with lecturers on attendance and assessment policies and helped ensure consistent application across classes. Flagged classroom issues early (participation, group dynamics, deadlines) and supported timely course adjustments. Contributed to a positive learning environment for 1,000+ students across multiple courses and terms.
Analyzed mobility and traffic datasets and turned findings into clear reports and visualizations. Built a traffic flow-estimation approach under data constraints, with explicit assumptions and uncertainty bounds. Documented methodology, assumptions and limitations to ensure traceable and reproducible results. Evaluated the environmental impact of traffic projects and linked outcomes to policy choices. Analyzed Munich’s urban traffic by vehicle categories and trip purposes. Shared interim findings with the project team and presented results to the client, explaining the effect of key assumptions.
Designed and built a machine-learning cash-flow forecasting model for a public energy company transitioning to renewables. Partnered with Accounting to validate outputs and align with reporting cycles. Made assumptions, limitations and model choices transparent and documented for handover. Presented results and scenarios to stakeholders, supporting improved liquidity planning and risk awareness. Created an SAP dashboard as a reporting tool for an anomaly & fraud detection algorithm
Advised major brands using financial and traffic KPIs; turned data into growth plans and actionable initiatives. Prepared and supported annual Pan-EU negotiations (range, terms, promotions). Organized and implemented growth strategies (on-site marketing, deals) while coordinating internal stakeholders. Drove profit-improvement initiatives across retail, marketing and supply-chain teams. Contributed to supply-chain improvements (shorter lead times, fewer defects) and ensured smooth range transitions. Identified opportunities for packaging improvements and supported brand roll-outs.
Research Department: Labor Market Trends and Policy Evaluation Unit Contributed to research on active labour-market policies: literature synthesis on mechanisms and context factors, feeding into impact evaluations. Built decent-work indicators from household surveys; cleaned and processed data; assessed data sources for evaluation suitability. Analyzed original legal documents and programme regulations (incl. Uruguay) to map design and eligibility; translated findings into concise research notes for policymakers. Contributed to the ILO ALMP Compendium (country profile: Mexico). Prepared presentations and visuals (LaTeX/PowerPoint) and documented assumptions and methods to ensure transparency and handover.
