Responsible for design and development engineering of Rotary combines harvesters for CASE IH and NEW HOLLAND. Specifically acting on projects related to threshing, cleaning and residue management systems. Frequent relationship with CNHi Engineering from the United States, Belgium and China for the development, improvement and/or field machines evaluation. Adequacy of equipment to new crop conditions imposed by current Brazilian agricultural scenario. Constant support on machines development, evaluations and validations of new machines in the field, and technical orientation for the field test team are also part of the job tasks. INTERNACIONAL EXPERIENCE: EUA 2011: One month trip to USA engineering sites of Iowa and Pensylvania to participate on new product development during the Field test season in Kansas state. Contact with full Grand Island-Nebraska assembly line of combines harvesters. EUA 2012: One month trip to USA to the CNHi engineering site of Iowa and field product definition at Louisiana state. Israel 2013: One month trip to Israel for new product definition and Field aplication of new harvesting technologies related to threshing, cleaning and header developed at CNHi engineering of Sorocaba-SP-Brazil. EUA 2013: One month trip to USA to the CNHi engineering site of Iowa for machines preparation followed by field tests of new components. China 2016: One month trip to China to lead machines development in the field together with Harbin plant engineering.
Lead Engineer responsible for Field tests activities around Brazil with rotary/conventional combines harvesters, draper, auger, corn headers and competitors machines. Strong experience with whole line of CASE IH and NEW HOLLAND combines and headers giving the necessary feedback to the product engineering of Brazil, USA and Belgium always seeking the best equipment performance and configurations to cover the different crop types and conditions of harvest found in a big country like Brazil. Experience on grain drapers/auger headers development and corn headers with different row spacements and configurations. INTERNACIONAL EXPERIENCE: Spain 2005: One month trip to Spain for field test development training together with the CNHi Belgium engineering team to learn the evaluations routine applied on combines harvesters to be aligned with the internacional CNHi standards. Focused on threshing, cleaning, residue management and machine performance. Germany 2006: One month trip to Germany together with CNHi Belgium engineering team for refinement on field development tests for new rotary combines harvesters. Focused on threshing, cleaning, residue management and machine performance. Canada 2008: One month trip to Canada together with CNHi USA engineering team for refinement on field development tests for new rotary combines harvesters. Focused on threshing, cleaning, residue management and machine performance.
