EURES (EURopean Employment Services) is a co-operation network between the European Commission and the Public Employment Services of the EEA Member States and other partner organisations. The purpose of EURES is to provide information, advice and recruitment/placement (job-matching) services for the benefit of workers and employers as well as any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of the free movement of persons. EURES has a human network of more than 1000 EURES advisers that are in daily contact with jobseeker and employers across Europe. In my role as an EURES Adviser for NAV Rogaland, I am responsible for creating and maintaining the connection between employers and jobseekers in Rogaland and the countries of the EU/EER to offer support and advice regarding employment (and employer), benefits and labour market information. - Offer information for employment opportunities and support in HR recruitment - Provide an insight in the largest jobseeker database in Norway and the EU/EER (matching) - Provide recruitment assistance (advertisements in Europe and/or tailored job fairs) - Pro-active support and information for short- and long-term staff planning and development - Develop and give presentations regarding market development and providing information about "Working & Living in Norway" - Applying current knowledge of the local and international labour market - Close cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce regarding events for international jobseekers (CV-registration, Labour Market update, Face2Face events) - Make new contacts and connect businesses through my network - Acquiring, initiating and executing projects and managing and expanding relationships - Maintaining and expanding collaborations with the various European countries and organizations
- Provide knowledge about the labor market, know the recruitment needs of the various industries, and in collaboration with other NAV offices - quickly find people who match vacancies - Presenting NAV's online solutions and our recruitment services to regional companies - Solve recruitment assignments for companies - Holding group presentations and arranging meetings, mini-job fairs or other tailored group events
