About

Hello, I’m Christine. My experience with university processes and policies makes me uniquely qualified in the higher education industry. Presently, I work full-time as a Senior Success Coach for the Office of Student Access & Success at Florida International University. I provide academic and support services to former foster youth and students experiencing homelessness. As a dedicated success coach, I provide students with a support system that helps them navigate university processes pertaining to admissions, financial aid, registration, and housing. I assist students with access to institutional resources for academic and professional development, including but not limited to academic advising, tutoring, counseling services, and career development services. I also serve as a liaison to help connect students to community resources and partners. I received my bachelor’s degree from FIU in Organizational Communication and a Master of Science at FIU in Global Strategic Communications with a certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building.
