Owner of Trigger Point Myotherapy in Lincoln, NE. This therapy is specific for treating pain secondary to myofascial contractions or "Trigger Points". My training includes Bachelor of Science in Nursoing 1980, Associates Degree of Science for Massage Therapy 2006, National Certification in Myofascial Trigger Point Release Therapy 2009, Chopra Center Certified Meditation Instructor 2003.
As a Nationally Certified Trigger Point Therapist I administer treatment for myofascial pain according the nationally set guidlines. A typical treatment will have more than one session and include a detailed history, muscle range of motion testing, myofascial release, stretching, teaching a home stretch program and identification of factors that may be causing the development of trigger points.
