• Development and production of prototypes at lab and pilot plant scale and resolving technical challenges. • Successfully delivered beverage product projects for the Tea and Hydration category that have already been launched on the EMEA market. • Communication and collaboration with project team members/suppliers/business units. • Skilled with SAP and Picasso database for functions related to formula development and input.
• Research new products and latest technologies to develop new product concepts and run trials alongside production. • Modifying existing products to increase nutritional value in accordance with customer needs while keeping costs low, and to decrease waste. • Oversee the manufacturing of the products involved in the “No Added Sugar Line” using the Roboqbo Q25-3. • Collaborating with French Chocolatier and pastry specialist Chef Thierry Kleiber to create new products using the Roboqbo. • Undertaking long-term projects with other researchers on the R&D team. e.g: Gluten Free division, Bread and Toast division. • Working on packaging innovation and modification according to labeling laws. • Implementing systems of safety and quality and hygiene in compliance with legislative and ISO standards. • Dealing with any customer complaints/ product issues. Other duties include: • Implementing and managing the site quality management system (QMS) ISO: 9001.
• Responsible for HACCP training of staff • Preparing the necessary documentation • Monitoring fridge temperatures and cooking/baking time • Monitoring preparation of food to ensure GMPs are being applied • Pest Control • Performed random weight checks on food items to make sure they are in the appropriate weight range • Completed internal audits • Set up appropriate cleaning and sanitation schedules
