Oversee daily operations of the firm; Manage office facilities, vendors, and equipment; Implement and maintain administrative systems and policies; Prepare and manage budgets; Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability; work with accountants on financial reporting, taxes, and audits; Manage trust accounts; Assist in Recruiting, hiring and onboarding staff; Handle payroll, benefits, and compensation structures; Address employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions; Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies; Ensure adherence to legal regulations and ethical standards; Maintain client confidentiality and data protection practices; Manage insurance policies (malpractice, liability, etc.); Develop risk management procedures; Implement new technologies to improve efficiency; Support marketing and business development initiatives; Assist partners with long-term planning and growth strategies; Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements; Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers; Monitor vendor performance and costs
Maintain docket systems to track the legal filing deadlines; create spreadsheets; index and update pleadings and discovery binders; schedule depositions, site inspections, hearings, closings and meetings. Draft correspondence and routine legal documents such as deposition notices. Also communicate with attorneys, experts, opposing counsel, vendors and other staff.
