In addition, I have the following qualifications: - Eager to take on cross-functional leadership initiatives, as previously demonstrated by leading teams across Formulations and NGS, managing 8 staff scientists, and overseeing high-impact molecular workflows. - Positioned to train and mentor junior scientists and colleagues, as evidenced by managing the 2-4 employees in the NGS department, 6 employees in the forensic contract group, as well as 12 employees in the organ donor transplant group. - Motivated to advance in optimising and standardizing protocols as demonstrated by increasing throughput in the NGS pipeline by 50%, and improving quality metrics and quality scores of sequencing data by 20%.
