About me: I worked in the Sutter Health System for over thirty years and now lead quality improvement efforts on behalf of women, birthing persons and newborns. I led the development of task forces to guide the work on substance use and exposure for pregnant persons and newborns as well as perinatal equity. I am honored to be on the DEI Committee of the Association of California Nurse Leaders and act as a mentor at my alma mater, The University of San Francisco. Direct administrative and operational initiatives for The California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative, a multi-stakeholder organization committed to ending preventable morbidity, mortality and racial disparities in California maternity care. Leverage research, best practices and partnerships to generate and disseminate improvement toolkits and action guide, enabling statewide outreach collaboratives or learning initiatives.
