Christina is a software engineer based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She currently works at H-E-B. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2016.
- Designed and developed a Windows application using C++ and the Qt framework to provide testing/debugging capabilities for 3D physical environment generator for training simulations. Features included graphs consisting of freely transformable nodes with input/output connectors, message queuing and processing, and the ability to save and open custom graphs from file system - Iteratively analyzed and coded tool based on given desired functionality and feedback from supervisor - Implemented Windows notification tray icon to indicate status of 3D physical environment generator, along with context menu with options to run, pause, and stop simulations from desktop using C++/Win32
- Developed a native Android mobile application that instills financial literacy in children and young adults through goal tracking, gamification, and kid-friendly UI - Worked on an agile team to successfully complete stories in weekly, fast-paced Scrum sprints - Designed and built out a dashboard used by IT project teams to monitor code quality metrics and project performance using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS - Composed RESTful web services in Java to aggregate code quality data from a SQL database into usable metrics
- Developed components in a web application used to manage sales and inventory for a global agriculture company using ASP.NET with C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Components developed include sales fulfillment, inventory management, and PDF report, invoice, and label generation - Wrote SQL queries to return sales and inventory data for use in web application - Quickly gained understanding of existing systems in order to complete coding tasks
