Christina Mbongueh Mohnchimbare is a Cameroonian public and reproductive health specialist, nurse educator, and academic leader with extensive experience in clinical care, teaching, research, and international cooperation. She holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Public/Reproductive Health and a post-doctoral Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from the University of Lisala, Democratic Republic of Congo, in addition to a Master of Science in Public Health (Reproductive Health) from the University of Douala and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Buea. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans nursing sciences, sexual and reproductive health, adolescent health, public health education, and community-based interventions. Professionally, Dr. Mohnchimbare currently serves as African Coordinator for International Cooperation and Research at the Inter-University Center for Multidisciplinary Research (CIREP) of the University of Lisala and as Project Coordinator for ITESH/EU programs under the Hanseatic Institute of Technology and Applied Sciences (HITAS) in Douala. She is also a consultant with WomanCare Global LLC (USA) and a university lecturer in biomedical and health sciences in Cameroon. In parallel, she is the promoter and director of the Mimshach Health Center (MIHEC) and has several years of frontline clinical experience at district-level health facilities. Dr. Mohnchimbare is an active researcher with peer-reviewed publications focusing on unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, adolescent reproductive health, and the influence of education and sociocultural factors on health outcomes. A member of national professional bodies, including the Cameroonian Association of Midwives, she is widely engaged in national and international scientific conferences, capacity-building workshops, and global health collaborations. Her work reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, youth and women’s health, and the strengthening of health systems in Africa and beyond.
