My practice here focused on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
As a solo practitioner with Noel Law Firm, LLC, I focused on both bankruptcy as well as civil litigation. The civil matters I handle include but are not limited to collections and creditor/debt settlement negotiations, personal injury, torts and insurance, redhibition and product liability, wills and estate planning, and domestic matters.
As an associate attorney in the firm, I worked in both the bankruptcy and general litigation [non-bankruptcy] departments. As part of the bankruptcy department, I prepared all documentation necessary in each case from the initial bankruptcy filing to the issuance of the final decree and attended court hearings as necessary. As part of the non-bankruptcy department, I also handled personal injury matters, debt settlement negotiations, collections, wills and powers of attorney, and redhibition matters. My work in the non-bankruptcy department included research for and drafting of pleadings, regular contact with clients as well as court personnel, and preparation for and attendance of court hearings.
