I lead strategic acquisitions and corporate development initiatives for Daikin Applied Americas across the U.S., helping drive growth, platform expansion, and long-term capital allocation priorities in HVAC infrastructure, controls, services, energy solutions, and data center cooling technologies. I regularly partner with executive leadership on strategic investment decisions, acquisition priorities, integration planning, and long-term growth initiatives in alignment with our 5 year strategic priorities. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, M&A, and operational execution. I lead transactions and strategic initiatives across the full investment lifecycle — including acquisition sourcing, strategic evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, transaction structuring, executive approvals, and integration planning. In recent years, I have helped support Daikin’s expansion into next-generation cooling and data center infrastructure, go-to-market and lifecycle value capture through acquisitions and strategic platform development initiatives focusing on channel consolidation, controls, liquid cooling, modular infrastructure, and service capabilities. Beyond transaction execution, I focus on how acquisitions can be used to build scalable operating platforms, strengthen market density, expand technical capabilities, and accelerate long-term enterprise value creation. Prior to Daikin, I spent years in Strategy & Transactions at EY and PwC advising private equity firms and multinational strategic investors on acquisitions, divestitures, operational performance improvement, and complex cross-border transactions across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. I bring a combination of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial problem solving to every initiative, with a leadership style centered around collaboration, accountability, and execution.     I led financial due diligence projects for private equity and major strategic investors. My area of focus was in identifying opportunities and risks to vet deal hypothesis, understanding key operational KPI trends using big data analytics software and providing strategic and quantitative input for purchase price negotiations / post-acquisition integration. I sold and managed sell and buy side projects from several million to $10 billion in purchase price in the US, Brazil, and Europe. I presented the financial and operational analysis of publicly listed and privately held acquisition targets to clients’ investment committee for decision support and to banks for obtaining debt financing including: (i) Quality of earnings (recurring EBITDA, gross margin, operating income, and free cash flow analysis), (ii) cash flow forecasts under consideration of up and downside risks, (iii) net working capital requirements and optimization strategies including trade financing, (iv) capital expenditure needs, and (v) analysis of net debt and debt like items, among others. My analysis resulted in favorable purchase price adjustments, key risk and opportunity considerations using KPI trends, realistic income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, and greater certainty in key management and integration decisions.
