• Led Talent Management, Organization Development, Diversity and Inclusion for 16,000 associates spread across Novartis Customer & Technology Solutions and Corporate Functions. • Redesigned the functional organization into world class integrated 4th Generation Service Organization powered by technologies and digital expertise, generating 500 Mio savings while improving customer satisfaction. • Initiated crisis talent management interventions during Covid, fostering retention and engagement.
• Led a global team of Human Resource professionals providing Business Partnering to Novartis Business Services. Enabled customer groups like HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement or Public Affairs to improve their talent strategy from the redefinition of the needed capabilities to the Build-Buy-Borrow. • Successfully Implemented a footprint transformation, with +7,000 roles out of 11,000 moved from countries to the Novartis Shared Services Centers in less than 24 months. • Drove data driven organization diagnostic and benchmark of the HR function (3,300 associates). Led the design of the future operating model, creating a People & Organization 25% leaner, adapting roles based on new HCM technology and redefining the role of the manager. • Steered a major transformation program, moving from 37 providers towards one Global Integrated Facilities Management solution for Novartis and partnering with a leading global supplier, in an integrated operating model with +500 Novartis Associates and +9000 third party associates.
• Partnered with SVP Head EMEA and led the HR function for the EUR 2bn business across Neurology, Immunology and Rare diseases, preparing for multiple launches and new Go To Market model. • Drove Strategic Talent Planning and enhanced the strength, depth, diversity & impact of EMEA leadership ensuring leaders were aligned, engaged & mobilized. • Designed and sponsored the UCB Leadership Development roadmap in partnership with Duke CE, focusing on authentic leadership and collaboration, increasing overall impact and engagement by 9 points.
• Diagnosed and identified the capabilities needed for the future in partnership with senior stakeholders. • Successfully designed and led large scale transformation realigning the organization to the capabilities. • Designed and implemented a Scientific Leadership Journey upskilling 100% of the scientific leaders.
