With a background in chemistry, biochemistry and geology, my professional life has taken me through laboratory services, research and innovation, consulting and quality management, manufacturing and quality control, as well as project and business management. With an analytical and structured mindset, I deliver results. Currently, I am freelance consultant providing management system and quality management services. In my position as Global Quality Partner @Topsoe, I continued the development of lean and harmonized processes for Topsoes new Management System, coordinated our 9001 certification and did internal and supplier audits. Also, I delivered quality management for Topsoes catalyst manufacturing plant in Frederikssund. As Global Quality Manager for Global Supply of Haldor Topsøe, the World leader in catalysis, my main task was to develop one unified, ISO 9001 certified Management System, enhancing harmonized, efficient and lean quality management in support of business performance. Before, I have taken a range of positions with DHI, one of the World’s leading providers of water solutions, technologies and software, latest as Executive Director, DHI Denmark, leading development of new, digital business models, staff and organization. Winning proposals, resource management and profitable project execution were my priorities as Director, Consultancy at DHI. Modernizing our proposal writing, changing the pivot from DHI excellence to customer pains and benefits was my most recent initiative. As DHI Group Quality Manager, I headed the development, implementation and certification of lean and paperless methods of work supported by a new Business Management System. This major process of change was made necessary by the transition from a small Danish consultancy and software company to a truly multinational operation. Before, I have had jobs managing staff, innovation, technology, research and projects in different organizations, always emphasizing development, strategy and communication. What drives me is seeing things develop and thrive. Working as trusted advisor in the intersection between science, legislation and politics has been my privilege across my positions with different organizations.

I was part of the global quality team, working on development and maintenance of our new ISO 9001 certified management system for Topsoe’s production of catalysts and technology design, doing also internal and supplier audits and manage our 9001 certification. Also, I provided quality management and assurance support to Topsoe's catalyst manufacturing at the plant in Frederikssund, Denmark with tasks such as handling of customer complaints and nonconformities.
My main task was to develop one unified, ISO 9001 certified quality management system across the production of Haldor Topsøe, enhancing quality collaboration, synergies between systems and process optimization. The goal was one harmonized, efficient and lean quality management in support of business performance.
As Executive Director, DHI Denmark, I was leading development of new (digital) businesses, staff and organization, and with my two fellow Executive Directors, I set directions for the company. Translating the knowledge and technologies of DHI Group into solutions in a world of water challenges was my priority.
I was leading DHI consultancy delivery in Denmark in an organisation with a staff of 225 in 7 departments offering consultancy services within water, environment and health in Denmark and globally.
My main task was to implement our new Business Management System (quality, environment and health & safety management, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) in DHI Group, a global, environmental research, consulting and software company based in Denmark and with a staff of more than 1,000+ in 25+ countries. The implementation included lean optimization of business processes and development of new, paperless methods of work.
