I am an economist working as a senior scientific researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) in The Hague. As part of the research programme Scarcity, Social Welfare and Well-being I conduct policy research guided by a broad concept of social welfare based on economic and other dimensions of well-being. Currently, I focus on ex-ante policy evaluation using microsimulation and other (quantitative) methods.
