Passionate educator and public school advocate. I am committed to creating inclusive, supportive classrooms where all students feel seen and valued, especially those from underserved communities. My work focuses on equity, restorative practices, and the academic and social-emotional growth of young adolescents. I am also interested in school climate, adolescent development, and education policy, with a focus on addressing racial disparities in discipline and amplifying student voice.
Excited to work with Appalachian State University Orientation as we welcome our new Mountaineers to campus. As an intern, I will assist with the logistics and daily operations of our orientation programs.
