Dr. Christian A. Widener is an engineer, entrepreneur, and author. He was formerly an associate professor at the South Dakota School of Mines, was the South Dakota Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018, is the co-founder of VRC Metal Systems (which specializes in cold spray equipment and service), and he writes and blogs at endtimesberean.com. Dr. Widener has a PhD in mechanical engineering and more than 15 years experience with advanced metals processing, joining, and cladding technologies, including friction stir welding, laser powder deposition, ultrasonic welding, and cold spray. Dr. Widener has 8 current or pending patents, and has co-authored more than 70 publications on cold spray and advanced materials. His research has focused on using advanced materials processing technologies for additive manufacturing and repair for many industrial and defense related applications. Recent work has expanded into biblical archaeology and the scientific defense of the reliability and accuracy of the Bible. His first book, The Temple Revealed, was published in 2020 to show that the true former location of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem has now been identified.
