My task was to enable local Siemens Companies to develop & generate business in the new & upcoming VoIP technology, which included setting up pilot projects, negotiate and conclude agreements/contracts in this business area.
My assignment was to acquire, negotiate and manage airport projects. In this business environment, all commercial and technical aspects within the tenders need to be considered and have to meet the specific aviation standards. As a project manager, my focus points were the management of the performance, execution and harmony within the teams. A high availability was required.
Designing from simple to complex remote control systems according the prescribed specifications and budget constraints. My main role was the global project managed and interacted between the R&D department and the client. Being an expert in a new technology, I also frequently participated to presentations and forums/discussions all over the world.
