Christian Hoenig is a Director Patient Engagement at admedicum. Since joining the company in 2018, he has focused on measuring patient preferences and systematically collecting both qualitative and quantitative data on patient experiences. Christian brings profound experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a strong track record of collaborating with patients and healthcare professionals across various indications. His expertise includes designing patient engagement strategies and leading patient insight research, which has been published in diverse scientific journals. Before joining admedicum, Christian gained valuable experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry as a Trainee in Product Management and later as a Product and Market Research Analyst at Basics GmbH. He has also worked with the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG), University Hospital RWTH Aachen, and Janssen-Cilag GmbH. Christian earned his Master's degree in Health Economics from the University of Cologne in 2016, specializing in Medicine, Evidence-based Medicine, and Patient Preference Measurement. His master's thesis focused on the development and validation of an Analytic-Hierarchy-Process (AHP) evaluation template. His bachelor's thesis addressed the determination of external validity for diagnostic accuracy studies. Additionally, he participated in research projects exploring incentives for improved patient participation in the Joint Federal Committee.
